NFTA to meet on waterfront property

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The NFTA is holding a special meeting Tuesday, discussing the ever popular waterfront property.
The big question remains, when will the NFTA hand the stretch of land over to the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation, and how much it will cost?
The NFTA bought the property for only $2 in the 1950s, and Congressman Brian Higgins is arguing that, that is all the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation should have to pay to acquire the land.
