Batavia, N.Y. (WIVB) - A vehicle struck a pedestrian Saturday night in Batavia.
Police were called to West Main Street around 9:00 p.m. They say the man was walking eastbound in the street, and they believe he was intoxicated.
The truck stopped after it hit the man. Police do not believe the truck's driver is at fault.
According to police, Mercy Flight took the pedestrian to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with a head injury.
At last check his name and condition were not available.
