NIAGARA FALLS, ONT. (WIVB) - Plans are underway for a new zip line attraction in Niagara Falls, Ontario, but first the idea has to pass muster with the community.
The Niagara Falls Review reports that residents will have a chance to voice their opinions on the plan in two public meetings to be held next week.
The plan calls for two locations - one a more gentle experience for people of all ages at Dufferin Island. The other at Thompson Point would be more dramatic near the whirlpool area.

Last year the Niagara Parks Commission began looking into green-tourism experiences. Activities like zip lines, canopy walks, cycling programs, and an expansion of the botanical experience are all up for discussion.
