ALDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police made two arrests in Erie County, during an underage drinking detail coinciding with the big game. Police checked 12 businesses in Wales, Marilla, Alden and Clarence.
State Police say an attendant at Ron’s Gas-Rite, in Alden, was arrested and charged. Police say 56-year-old Sandra Lukasczyk is charged with prohibited sale of alcohol to a person under 21 years of age. Lukasczyak is due in Alden Court at a later date.
According to state police, an attendant at Red Apple Kwik Fill, in Clarence, was also arrested and charged. Police say 37-year-old Stacey Delano is charged with prohibited sale of alcohol to a person under 21, and is due in Town of Clarence Court at a later date.
Ten businesses were checked and police say they properly complied with the law, denying sales to the underage buyer. State Police say the businesses that complied are:
-Yellow Goose gas station, Big Tree Rd., Wales
-Marilla Country Store, Two Rod Rd., Marilla
-Red Apple Kwik Fill, Two Rod Rd., Marilla
-Rite Aid Pharmacy, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Save-A-Lot Store, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Crosby’s Mobile Gas Station, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Sunoco Gas Station, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Dok’s Liquor Store, Broadway Rd., Alden
-Sunoco Wilson Farms, Walden Ave, Alden
-Mobile 7-11 Gas Station, Main St., Clarence
