VILLENOVA, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says slippery roads are to blame for a rollover crash in the Town of Villenova just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office says 21-year-old Courtney Ellis was driving on Buttermilk Road when she lost control of her vehicle because of slippery pavement. Ellis’ vehicle veered off to the right into a ditch, and overturned onto the rooftop.
According to the sheriff’s office, Ellis was able to get out of the vehicle and seek help from a neighbor. Ellis was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries.
