BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - If you have a letter to post you might want to send it out before Sunday.

The price of stamps go up on January 27. The postage will now cost you 46 cents, up a penny. The price of mailing post cards is also rising, from 32- to 33-cents.

Record losses are blamed for the postal rate increases.

However if you like to buy Forever Stamps, the postal service is launching one that will allow you to send a letter all over the world for $1.10.
