CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Pulaski Day Parade is months away, but preparations are already underway.

The General Pulaski Association held its annual spaghetti dinner and basket raffle today at the Creekside Banquet Facility in Cheektowaga.

General Pulaski Association President Brian Rusk says, "He was a hero of two continents, for our freedom."

Today's event also named Catherine Dodds of Cheektowaga as Pulaski "Princess" and Jessica Kisluk of Alden as "Countess."

The money raised from Sunday's event will benefit the annual parade that honors General Pulaski.
