CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - You have a chance to speak up about plans to move a mail processing from Buffalo to Rochester.

A public meeting is being held on the issue Wednesday at 6 p.m. at JFK High School, on Cayuga Creek Road, in Cheektowaga.

In an effort to cut costs, the Postal Service wants to close the Buffalo Processing and Distribution Center on William Street and shift the work to Rochester.

This would put 700 local jobs in jeopardy.
