Popular hockey equipment store to open in Spring

AMHERST, NY (WIVB) - Buffalo hockey fans will have another outlet where they can spend their cash.

Pure Hockey, a popular hockey retail outlet in the Northeast, has announced it will open its first store in New York State on Sheridan Drive in Amherst this Spring.

Pure Hockey sells hockey equipment  from all major brands and offers stick and skate buyback programs. 

The retailer is now in six states and advertises as the largest hockey store in the U.S. 

The new store is expected to open its doors in April or May 2013 at 3265 Sheridan Drive near Bailey Avenue.
