LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - Millions of birth and death records, adoption papers and real estate records are being moved out of an old leaky building in Lockport.
Niagara County lawmakers say some records date back more than 200 years and they’re in danger of being lost.
The records will be moved to a new storage space in Newfane. The move comes with a $125,000 price tag.
