CLARENCE, N.Y. (RELEASE) - Come celebrate the annual harvest at the largest fall family event in the Western New York region, as the 2012 edition continues through October 31st.

World Class Pumpkin Pie Eating takes place on October 20th and 21st. On Saturday at 1pm, “Naader Freak8R Reda” will attempt a World Record 25 minute pumpkin pie eating feat.

On Sunday at 1pm, it’s the 3rd annual Pumpkin Pie Eating Championships. The weekend also features Pig Racing, the Pumpkin Pie USA Talent Contest, and a “Funny Face” Pumpkin Drawing competition.

The final weekend, October 27th and 28th, has FREE admission and pay-as-you-go for all of the festival’s ongoing attractions. Those attractions include the Corn Maze, Hay Rides, Amusement Rides, Face Painting, Magic, Juggling, and the “Cackling Hen Revue”.

Of course, this gigantic FALL FESTIVAL is chock-full of pumpkins…more than you can count. They’ll be carved, catapulted, picked, weighed, and, of course, sold to folks who want to take them home.

The Pumpkin Palace and Pumpkin Store will have lots of pumpkins, along with cider, corn stalks, hay bales, and Indian corn. Plus, there’s no better place to celebrate HALLOWEEN than here, where the Haunted House & Museum and the “Boo” Barn are good for more than a few “scares”.

Festival hours are 10am to dusk daily. There is a special admission price of $5.00 during weekend celebrations. Discount tickets are available at Wegmans. Parking is always FREE.

The Great Pumpkin Farm is located at 11199 Main Street in Clarence, NY, and online at www.GreatPumpkinFarm.com.
