BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo drivers can travel down a new road. A new street in Buffalo Lakeside Park was christened Laborer’s Way Friday, in honor of the men and women who worked hard to build this region.
Assemblyman Michael Kearns and Common Council Member Christopher Scanlon were on hand to dedicate the street.
Kearns said, “We thought it would be more appropriate to wait until Labor Day weekend to announce this great project in recognition of the American worker.”
The street is located at the former home of the Buffalo and Susquehanna Iron Company.
