LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Salvation Army challenged shoppers today at five different Walmart locations to fill a truck with toys.
The Walmart stores in Amherst, Cheektowaga, Williamsville, Lancaster, and Hamburg hosted a drive to provide both toys and coats to children in need this Christmas.
Trucks were placed at the entrances of each store to help show how great the need is for help this season.
This is the 122nd year for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign. Today's drive is hoping to provide gifts to more than 500 Buffalo area children.
