BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Around 6 a.m. Tuesday, there were wind gusts up to 60 mph In Dunkirk and most other areas have seen wind gusts of 50 mph.

The whipping winds have knocked out power in areas around western New York. Around 6 a.m. Tuesday, there was approximately 4,200 outages.
