WASHINGTON, D.C. (WIVB) - A 4th of July tragedy has Senator Charles Schumer taking action. He wants all boats to clearly display capacity numbers.

This, after a yacht capsized off Long Island, killing three children. It's believed the boat may have been over crowded.

Schumer said, "We have capacity limits posted for everything from classrooms to ballrooms, but not recreational fishing vessels over 20 feet and that just makes no sense."
