WETHERSFIELD, NY (WIVB) - A Wyoming County man has died following a one car crash in Wethersfield.

Brandon Lane, 35, of Silver Springs, lost control of his car on Saturday around 12:25 a.m. as he drove along Poplar Tree Road. His vehicle spun sideways and slammed into a tree.

Sheriff’s deputies said Lane was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is continuing.
