JA,MESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Jamestown Police are cracking down on liquor stores who are selling alcohol to people under the age of 21. Six people were arrested Friday, during a detail targeting liquor stores allegedly selling alcohol to minors. The detail took place Friday evening, from 6 to 10 p.m.
Jamestown Police say 55-year-old Patrick Wilder, of Bemus Point, was charged at Raynors Liquor on Fluvanna Avenue. Five Jamestown residents were arrested, 46-year-old Dee Abney was charged at Kwik Fill on Forest, 50-year-old Kris J. Bogardus was charged at 7-11 on Hazeltine Avenue, 34-year-old William J. Jones was charged at The Q on 2nd Street, 55-year-old Daniel Crasti was charged at Mileys Old Inn on 2nd Street and 42-year-old Christine Martinez was charged at Noeplace Store on 2nd Street.
The six people arrested were all charged with prohibited sales to minors and were issued appearance tickets.
