BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - For those who can't make it to Sunday's Bills game, why not take part in another western new York favorite activity?

Colden Tubing at Kissing Bridge opened for the season Saturday morning featuring its "Magic Carpet," an airport style mover that carries tubers back to the top of the hill after each run.

A fresh round of light snowfall today made more work for plow drivers and anyone with a sidewalk or driveway.

Neighbors on Amherst Street in Buffalo had their shovels and salt at the ready.

Buffalo resident, Ronald Frink has been in Buffalo his whole life and said he knows the deal with winter's here.

Winter in western New York should not surprise anyone, especially drivers, as Allan May of Buffalo says, "When it keeps on snowing, that makes it tough, because then you've got to worry about people slipping and falling and stuff like that, especially when you get on the road. I've got to commend the City of Buffalo does very well at keeping the streets clean nut accidents do happen."

Buffalo Police tended to a couple of spinouts on the snow-slickened Kensington Expressway Saturday morning.

Downtown, city workers started clearing snow out of Roosevelt Square, in preparation for the New Year's Eve ball drop.

Further south, the die-hard snow lovers were living it up on the ski and snowboarding slopes.

Dan Wilcox of Buffalo says, "It's really perfect, the sun's not out so it shouldn't be too icy out there."

Whether you like the snow or not, this is Buffalo, and any kind of unpredictable weather is bound to happen.
