CLARENDON, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Holley man remains in the hospital in guarded condition after he was involved in a snowmobile accident in the Town of Clarendon around 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Steven E. Belknap, 35, was operating his snowmobile in the 4400 block of Bennett's Corners Rd., when he crashed head on into a vehicle.
Belknap was ejected from the snowmobile and taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident
Travis DeYoung, 19, of Clarendon was driving the vehicle; he was not injured.
Pending his recovery, Belknap faces charges including: Operation of a Snowmobile on a Public Highway and Operation of a Snowmobile while in an Intoxicated Condition.
