Snowmobiler saved from Genesee creek

GENESEE COUNTY, (WIVB) - It turned out to be a frightening day for a Genesee County snowmobiler after a deputy saved him from being stuck in a freezing creek.

The snowmobiler was on a trail near a Genesee creek Sunday afternoon, when his snowmobile sunk in a swamped-out trial.

The man was stuck, surrounded by waist-deep snow and water for about 40 minutes before a deputy rescued him.

The snowmobiler nor the deputy were injured.
