CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Several loving families gave Western New York soldiers a warm welcome home today at the Buffalo-Niagara Airport.

One of the several soldiers who returned was Private First Class Veronica Chew who had quite an emotional welcome at the airport.

Dozens of family members gathered at the airport to greet Chew home from Afghanistan; she will be home for 30 days.

The soldier just found out she will be re-deployed to Afghanistan in 2014.
