WARSAW, N.Y. (WIVB) - An SPCA scandal will take center stage in a Wyoming County courtroom. Janet Foisset, the former Board President of the Wyoming County SPCA, will be back in court Thursday afternoon.
She's charged with evidence tampering in connection to a raid back in February when hundreds of cats were seized from the shelter.
Susan Davila, the former Wyoming County SPCA director, was expected in court Thursday as well. Tragically, as we reported earlier this week she was found dead in her home over the weekend. The cause of her death is still unclear.
Davila was facing several counts of animal cruelty, in addition to evidence tampering, in relation to February's raid.
