BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - There was a spooky chill in the air for a Halloween celebration downtown.

That's because a party was held on the ice of the First Niagara Center.

The Buffalo Sabres welcomed 2000-skaters all dressed in costume.

The skaters were invited to take part in costume contests, candy giveaways even enjoy "festive" food and drinks.
