BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The State Education Department has some stunning numbers on education in our region.

According to Business First, enrollment in the 98 public school districts in western New York was just under 210,000 students last year. That's a drop of more than 43,000 students from the decade before. Only four districts added students in that time: Clarence, Lancaster, Starpoint and Friendship.
