BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Over 800 runners and student athletes from Medaille College, dressed up in Santa hats or reindeer antlers for the annual Reindeer Run Saturday morning.

There's nothing like an early holiday celebration like a festive 5k run on a Saturday morning.

Race Director Laura Edholm says, "This is our first year where we had to change the race course, so it's our first year in Delaware Park. I know that our old race course was an appeal. This year the runners stuck with us. We have a great race party, we've got great volunteers. Our student athletes come out and celebrate and make it a fun thing."
