TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Volunteers in the Town of Tonawanda had some fun today putting together a few special stockings for men and women serving our country overseas this holiday season.
They're part of "Holidays for Soldiers," a push to make sure the troops have some comforts of home even though they can't be home this year.
Stockings were stuffed with socks, beef jerky, playing cards, decorations, and more.
This year's drive is in honor of Getzville native, Sergeant William Wilson III, who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this year.
