GENESEO, N.Y. (AP) - A western New York college has canceled the remainder of its women's volleyball season amid allegations of hazing.
Officials at the State University of New York at Geneseo announced the development Friday, saying they could not in good conscience let the season go forward.

The college had suspended the season last week after six freshmen volleyball players said they were handcuffed, blindfolded and forced to drink vodka during a Sept. 2 initiation party that involved all but one member of the team. One girl was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning.
Police say 11 current or former members of the team have been charged with hazing and unlawful dealing with a child for serving alcohol to minors.
The students also face possible disciplinary action from the college.
