Schumer wants review of Aero-Shot

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - Move over coffee and Red Bull, this could be the next big buzz. Aero-Shot went on the market last month in Massachusetts and New York.

It's a lipstick-sized plastic tube that contains 100 milligrams of caffeine powder, about the amount in a large cup of coffee. However, critics say the product comes with risks. Senator Charles Schumer wants the FDA to review Aero-Shot.

He fears it will be used as a club drug so people can drink until they drop.
