Three killed in Pelham crash
Five victims transported to hospitals

PELHAM, ONT. (WIVB) - Police in Canada are investigating a crash that killed three people and injured five others.
Reports are it was a head-on crash just south of St. Catharines after 1a.m. on Highway 20 near Victoria Avenue in Pelham. Dave Ritchie sent WIVB these pictures from the accident scene.

The Hamilton Spectator reports that four people were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. A fifth was airlifted to Hamilton for treatment.
Niagara Regional Police say each vehicle was carrying four passengers and the three who died were in the same vehicle.
Police are still investigating at the scene and expect the highway to remain closed until noon.
