BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Two burn victims are recovering after a fast-moving fire tore through a home on Buffalo’s west side overnight.
Fierce flames licked the night sky as Buffalo's bravest went to work at the home on Plymouth Avenue. The two men inside, a 17 year old and a 68 year old, both suffered burns but were able to escape. A woman who was also inside managed to call for help.
Everyone is expected to be okay, unfortunately the home is a different story.
Buffalo Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield said, "This is gonna be a total loss. This particular property where the fire originated we haven't come up with a damage assessment but we know the property is a total loss."
At this point, investigators haven't pinpointed a cause for the fire.
