Authority postpones toll talks, again

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Thruway Authority has postponed their meeting scheduled for Tuesday on toll hikes. Last week the authority said they would meet, but they ended up rescheduling the meeting for Tuesday. There is no word on the new date for the meeting.
The proposed increase is 45 percent for commercial trucks. That increase could have a trickle-down effect on other drivers.
Thruway officials say they haven't raised the tolls in about two decades.
