OAKVILLE, ONT. (WIVB) - You’ll soon be able to get an electric charge along with Tim Ho’s in Canada.
Tim Hortons announced they are rolling out a pilot program enabling customers to charge their electric cars while enjoying a cup of coffee.
The first charging stations are available at an outlet in Oakville, Ontario and at the company headquarters.
The charge is available to customers free of charge.
The company plans to run electrical wires to future charging stations through conduits in parking lots at all newly-built Canadian restaurants going forward, to simplify the installation process.
