BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Time Warner Cable partnered with Operation Tribute today to distribute toys to children of military families.

Operations Manager of Time Warner Cable, Joli Plucknette-Farmen says, "It's really just to remember the sacrifice that so many children give if their parents are serving our country. Often times, we think of the veterans and their sacrifice, but they've got families here who are sacrificing each and every day."

Time Warner Cable will give away more than 35,000 toys across the Northeast as part of their "Holiday Hopes and Happenings' initiative.
