BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - With or without snow, the third annual Flurrious Festival at the Park was scheduled to still go on this weekend.
BlueCross BlueShield joined Olmsted Parks’ annual winter festival to promote healthy living and family activity.
The free event was held at the Delaware Park Lodge where families enjoyed:
-snow tennis
-igloo and snowman making competitions
- ice skating
-music
-food and beverages
-heated tent to warm up in
-Quidditch tournament
and so much more.
Thomas Herrere-Mishler, CEO of Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy said those who didn’t attend this year’s Flurrious missed out. “There’s just so much going on in the Olmstead Parks in the winter time. You should get out and enjoy these beautiful historic landscapes, certainly everyone today at Flurrious had a wonderful time. I hope everyone will come out next year,” he said.
