ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - It could soon cost more for trucks to drive on the New York State Thruway. The state Thruway Authority is expected to impose a double digit toll hike on commercial trucks.

Earlier this year, the agency proposed a 45 percent toll hike on vehicles with more than three axles. The toll hike is expected to bring in $90 million a year in revenues, the authority will discuss the issue at their meeting Friday.
