SALAMANCA, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Seneca Gaming Corporation celebrated as the final steel beam was put into place Tuesday for a new hotel tower at the Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca.

The $53 million project will add about 200 rooms to the facility, essentially doubling its capacity. Seneca leaders say the expansion will help the local economy grow. The Senecas say they're also looking forward to developing the Buffalo Creek Casino, but no other specifics were given.
