TORONTO, ONT. (WIVB) - High rise development in Toronto is booming – so much so that it is outpacing every other city in the Western Hemisphere.
The Toronto Star reports that Toronto tops the list of tall structure construction in a new report from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. There are currently 15 skyscrapers under construction – all of them more than 45-stories tall.
Toronto will have 45 high rise buildings by 2015, many of them house condominiums. The latest additions to the Canadian skylines include the 277-meter Trump International Hotel and Tower .
