WHEATFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) - Niagara County Sheriffs were called to Shawnee Road in the town of Wheatfield early Saturday morning for an overturned tractor trailer.

The truck driven by Sung Lee and owned by JSR Transport of Oakville, Ontario exited the east side of the roadway, striking a power pole with an attached transformer.

The trailer was heavily damaged and overturned on its side, causing 24,000 pounds of grapes to spill.  Lee was treated at the scene by the Shawnee Ambulance Company for a minor injury.

An investigation is underway on the cause of the crash.
