BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The weather Saturday was just right for a trip to the ballpark. The Bisons held a free open house at Coca Cola Field.
Visitors could enjoy a free hot dog and soft drink, and could donate to Coaches for Cancer in exchange for discount vouchers for opening day. Visitors got to check out the seats, the batting cages, even the locker rooms that will be busy this spring and summer.

Bisons Public Relations Director Brad Bisbing said, “It's getting a little bit warmer today, and we're hoping spring and summer temperatures are right around the corner, because you know we're anxious to get baseball started here in Buffalo. It's been a tremendous off-season, a great off-season and now we're affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays, they've had an amazing off-season.”
Individual game tickets also went on sale Saturday. Opening day is April 4th, just 26 days from now.
