CHEEKTOWAGA, NY (WIVB) - Walmart announced it will be opening a new “Supercenter” store on the site of the current Super Flea market on Walden Avenue.
The store will replace the existing store in the Thruway Plaza.
The company reported that the new Walmart will create an additional 85 jobs, most of them full-time positions.
There is no word on if the Super Flea will relocate. However officials from Benderson Development in the past reported they were considering moving the flea market.
