AMHERST, N.Y. (iWIVB) - Motorists in the northtowns may have faced delays early Tuesday morning, because of a water main break in Amherst. A water main break occurred on Eggert Road, East of Alberta Drive, just before 6:30 a.m.

NITTEC reported that lane restrictions were in place, until about 9:15 a.m. The roadway is now clear.
