BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - President Obama is getting ready to give the first State of the Union Address for his second term on Tuesday.
He is expected to touch on many hot-topic issues including gun control and the economy.
Representative for New York's 27th congressional district Chris Collins stated what he wanted to hear from the President say in this week's speech. He said, "I would like to hear the President stand up and say we need to work together in a bipartisan fashion to move this country forward, to grow our economy, and to create jobs for all Americans, especially our kids getting out of college who can't find work."
Collins continued saying, "I'd like to hear him talk about common sense, bipartisan solutions. I'm the skeptic that I won't hear that because we did not hear that in his Inaugural Address."
The State of the Union Address can be seen on Channel 4 at 9 p.m., Tuesday February 12th.
