What should be built at Webster Block?

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band filled the First Niagara Center Friday night. The first parking lot filled was of course right in front of the center, the Webster Block, which may not be a parking lot for much longer.

City officials are looking for developers suggestions on what to build on that site so close to the inner harbor. So, News 4 asked fans of the Boss for ideas.

"I'd be interested in something that drew families down here. We were just in Baltimore and they've done a really good job with their inner harbor and I think Buffalo has the same potential to do something just as beautiful and exciting that pulls families down here," says Karen Jones of East Aurora.

"If this was a ramp, maybe they could fit something on this site, more cars in here, I don't know," says Pat Brady.

"Something to bring families down, maybe a good restaurant, something to bring closer to the arena and enjoy the good view, and it is a good view," says Nate Waller from Rochester.

"Keep it going, keep it looking great, keep people coming down here it's beautiful," says Ken Lasker of Jamestown.
