WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - In Williamsville, they are considering raising school taxes in order to spend more money on security. The district wants to raise taxes by 4.3 percent in order to put about $300,000 into better security measures. Things like door monitors, a new ID card access system, a school police officer and security cameras.

There is a school board meeting Tuesday night, and the Williamsville superintendent has invited Amherst Police Chief John ASkey to address the board.
