Winds likely to blame for outages

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Strong winds are likely to blame for power outages in Niagara Falls and Tonawanda, Friday afternoon.

More than 600 National Grid customers are without power, with about 300 without power in both Niagara Falls and Tonawanda . If you want to review outage information, you can check out the National Grid Power Outage page on WIVB.com.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Erie, Wyoming, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus counties until 6 p.m. Friday.  Wind Gusts of 50 mph are possible. Check out the latest 4 Warn Forecast, on WIVB.com's weather page.
