Wisniewski had called police on Jorden

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) - News that the search for Dr. Timothy Jorden is over may bring some relief to those who knew Jackie Wisniewski, who are still coming to grips with her death just two days ago.

Wisniewski's family was too grief stricken to talk on camera on Friday. But we learned from West Seneca Police in late February Jackie Wisniewski called police to report harassing phone calls from Dr. Timothy Jorden, where the doctor would leave messages saying he knew where she was. West Seneca say she chose not to press charges.

Wisniewski's friend Heather Shipley said, "She had to get away from him because he was pyscho. She was afraid of him she was deathly afraid of him."

"She told me that he had stuck a GPS device on her car and knew everywhere she was going, driving by her house, sitting in the parking lot across the street - stalking her," she added.

On Wednesday, Cheektowoga Police told News 4 Dr. Jorden was also involved in two domestic cases in 2003, neither of which involved Wisniewski.

One of Wisniewski's neighbors, who didn't want to go on camera, said he saw Jorden go to and from Wisniewski's home in the fall. But in recent months, he says Wisniewski always had her shades drawn and the lights turned off. He thought she was trying to save electricity. But now says he thinks she didn't want anyone to know she was home.

Shipley said, "She told me, she told me if anything happened to her it was because of him."
