TORONTO, ONT. (WIVB) - Air Canada may be grounded as of midnight on Monday.  The airline has  served formal notice it will lock out its 3,000 pilots at 12:01 a.m. Monday.  The time coincides with strike deadline of machinists’ union.

The  Toronto Star reports that everyone is now looking to Ottawa to see if the Labour Minister, Lisa Rait will step in.

The job action comes just as thousands of Canadians have planned spring break vacations.
