NIAGARA FALLS, ONT. (WIVB) - A Niagara Falls, Ontario, motel is coming back from a devastating amount of damage leveled by 300 high school students this past December.
The owners of the Avenue Inn report that gaping holes left in the walls and plumbing has been repaired, but they still would like to see those responsible brought to justice.
The Niagara Falls Review reports that police say they’ve identified 300 young people who were present at a Lundy’s Lane motel trashed by students from Notre Dame High School in Welland.
The Liu family that owns the motel says that students offered to help with cleanup but due to liability issues they had to decline.
The insurance company paid the claims but then canceled their policy.
