HOLLAND, NY (WIVB) - The Holland Central School Distric t is considering moving closing the Harold O. Brumsted Elementary School and leaving the building empty to save money.

The district is grappling with some severe financial concerns that could mean the elimination of 12 teachers, some sports programs and financial support for school musicals.

The new configuration could mean moving the elementary students into the Middle School. There are no changes to the High School reconfiguration plans.

The plan would mean some adjustments like building some new lavoratories in the Middle School building more suited for the younger students.
