ST. CATHARINES, ONT. (WIVB) - Two brothers from Niagara Falls, Ontario have been arrested in a large drug sweep -up to $30 million in cocaine.
The Niagara Falls Review reports that the Niagara Regional Police say it is the largest-ever seizure of cocaine in Niagara.
Police seized 110 kilograms of cocaine at 10 Davidson St. in St. Catharines. They estimate the haul to have a street value of $30 million.
Frank Alessio, 32, and Angelo Alessio, 34, both of Niagara Falls were charged with drug trafficking.
Police plan a press conference Wednesday at police headquarters in St. Catharines.
